Annie Clay (they/she) is a queer, neurospicy human residing on the lands of the Cowlitz, Chinook and Multnomah peoples, colloquially known as Portland, Oregon.
Utilizing poetry, prose, spoken word, photography and video they explore the themes of relationship, interconnection and co-creation between the human and more than human realms.
Their work arrives as a relaxed, easy-to-approach, symbolic and philosophical voice that centers liberation for all, decentering human superiority and earth wisdom, in service to our collective well-being
Their practice is centered within the intersection of decolonization, psychology and spirituality.
Their work emerges as co-creation with the world around them, trusting that spirit and earth are always working with us and offering wisdom if we are able to slow down enough to tap into presence.
Through their art they hope to help others reconnect with the inner wisdom, cultivate their own inner voice and create a sense of belonging and connection with the living world around them.
