Benefits of Tea in this Way

Experience the art of tea with our ceremonial or casual Gongfu Cha & tea bowl sessions—an immersive journey into mindfulness and tradition. Sitting with high-quality tea brewed in this meticulous style invites you to slow down, engage your senses fully, and cultivate inner calm.

  • Drinking tea offers numerous physical health benefits, largely due to its rich content of antioxidants and unique compounds like L-theanine. L-theanine, an amino acid found almost exclusively in tea leaves, promotes relaxation without drowsiness, helping to reduce stress and improve focus.

Regular tea consumption has been linked to improved cardiovascular health by supporting healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Additionally, tea can enhance metabolism and aid digestion, contributing to overall wellness. Its anti-inflammatory properties further support immune function and may help protect against chronic diseases.

Incorporating tea into your daily routine provides a natural way to boost both physical and mental well-being.

  • Each small, precise pour encourages presence and appreciation, turning tea drinking into a meditative ritual that reduces stress, enhances focus, and deepens your connection to the moment.

Embrace this timeless practice to refresh your mind, uplift your spirit, and savor the nuanced flavors of premium tea leaves, all while nurturing balance and well-being. Transform your daily routine into a sacred pause with our expert-guided tea ceremonies.

  • Tea offers more than just a soothing ritual; it serves as a bridge reconnecting us with the earth and the natural cycles that sustain life.

As you prepare and sip tea, you engage in a mindful practice that honors the plants, soil, and seasons, reminding you of your place within this intricate web of interconnectedness.

This connection extends inward as tea helps quiet the mind, making space to access your inner guide—your intuition and deeper wisdom.

Additionally, the practice can open subtle channels to more-than-human allies in your environment, inviting a sense of harmony and support from the natural world around you.

Through tea, you cultivate presence, balance, and a spiritual communion that enriches both body and soul.

Common Questions

  • The tea we use is high-grade and sourced from wonderful locations in China.

Most of the teas that we pour will have caffeine, however, it is much milder than a coffee or a matcha tea for example.

Tea also includes L-Theanine which helps smoothe out the body’s system, so that if doesn’t get over stimulated (like it may with coffee).

  • Check out our upcoming events on our shop page! If you don’t see anything that works for you, reach out! We would love to co-create with you.

  • We ask that you listen to your body and ask yourself first what would I like to do to honor myself and prepare myself for a ceremonial sit?

Otherwise, we usually recommend eating a small amount within a few hours before the tea sit. Some experienced plant medicine people may prefer to fast until after tea. For new people, we suggest eating a small meal or snack before the sit.

  • Nope!

Our tea does not have additions or psychedelics.

Many experience a light connection to something greater than them while sitting with tea and it is entheogenic. However, we do not "add” anything to the tea.

No, there is no psilopsybin in these teas.

  • Ceremonial sessions involve more of an intention setting, a more quiet/inward space and often a more stereotypical “spiritual” journey.

Casual style can be just as “spiritual”. However, it is more laid-back, with the intention of trying multiple teas and learning about their energetic qualities. This setting allows for more question & answers, collaborative engagement and discussion.
