The Other side of Fear is your Power: A Prayer for the Equinox & Fall

May we welcome change

may we trust it has more intelligence than we

for change is life,

don’t you see?

in the sea,

in the birds,

in the grass,

in the snow

in the movement and the cycles

there is so much that we do not know

the leaves are a changing

so are you

so am i

through the other end of this grief, this loss

is a new spark,

a new creation

asking to shine

so may we have courage to meet these times

to answer the call

may we acknowledge what is at our doorstep

inviting us to really feel it all

it’s not (always) with ease

it’s not often without doubt

and yet, as Sonya Renee Taylor says

the other side of fear is your power

& thats a great prize,

there is no doubt.

May we walk two full feet on the ground,

acknowledging our inherent worth

May we learn to love ourselves,

all of our ways,

even when we feel like dirt.

i love you,

fellow human,

fellow person,

fellow tree.

thank you for listening to my offer

I hope it brought you some peace,

meaning some ease.

To life

to meeting her

to meeting them
