Plant Oracle Series: Watering
Keywords: Nourishment; Hydration
Dry and feeling bare. As if there is a hole in my foundation, leaking out any bit that may still nourish me. I am parched, without water and without a sense of flow. My circulation has slowed and my energy is low. I carry myself in a droop, nearly dousing the floor with my drains. Flaccid, hollow and dry I feel the cracking around me increase. What was a subtle creek has now shifted to budding ravines of mud. My roots struggle to breath and expand, feeling the dripping like honey sensation required in each movement. Alas, sweet relief is in sight. My caretaker has noted a shift in vibrancy, a need for nourishment and nears my direction. Sweet flows of cool liquid pour over my barren cracks and veins. I am able to take a breath again and my roots expand in the exhale.
Sweet water. Sweet flow. I find myself feeling revitalized and rejuvenated. I am the fresh, sweet plant that I have always been. I almost forgot who I was when I was foundation-cracked and dry. It is after these experiences I deepened my understanding of my needs. I understand that natural needs inside of me and I remember the beauty and breath I offer to my environment. I remember who I am and I am anew in vibrant potency for life.
Affirmations:
